AT&T Android Device Allows For Installation Of Non-Market Apps: Watch Out For Flying Pigs

"Hey, whatdy'a know: Mr. FedEx-Guy (or "Tom", as we've come to know him) just dropped by with a shiny new Samsung Infuse 4G in tow. As we do with any Android-powered AT&T device, the very first thing we did was check to see if AT&T screwed up again. Surprise! They've finally done Android right!"

Wow.... Just wow. I never thought I'd see the day where AT&T loosened it's leash any what so ever on it's mobile customers. But here it is, folks. It looks like starting with the Samsung Infuse 4G all new AT&T (and hopefully the older ones too) will be able to install apps from unknown sources. Oh you know, things like apps from something like the Amazon Appstore! I think it's time for a ticker tape parade! Now if we could just do something about all the crapware....
