Sprint Double Leak: Xoom and Nexus S 4G
Posted by Craig Horlacher in "Android News" @ 10:30 AM
"If you've been following these here pages closely, you'll know that a little device named the Nexus S 4G is coming to Sprint's network, with the expectation being that it'll be announced at CTIA early next week."..."but what you're really eager to learn more about is that image of a Motorola Xoom with a Now Network logo on it, right?"
The first official pure Google "4G" phone that I'm aware of is on the way to Sprint and it looks like Sprint is adding the Xoom to their portfolio as well! This is some great news for Sprint! Some other good news is that Adobe Flash 10.2 has been released for Android and it supports Tegra 2/Honeycomb devices! Now it's not the full fledged real deal. Well, it is but it doesn't support GPU acceleration for the Tegra 2 so it basically won't do 720p playback well but it should handle most of your typical Flash browsing needs. Hopefully the release that supports the full GPU power of the Tegra 2 will come out soon but this is a huge step and should help hold people over! Is anyone who is on Sprint waiting for the Xoom or Nexus S 4G? Did any Xoom owners install Flash 10.2? We would love to hear from any of you!
