SuperOneClick: Root Your Android Device In One Super Click

"We recently featured Universal Androot, an app that rooted many Android phones, but had a few limitations (and Google's already killing it with a patch). Windows program SuperOneClick is the easiest, most universal rooting app we've seen yet."
If you've ever wanted to root your device yet don't want to (or are afraid to) dig into the horribly cryptic land of command line hacking SuperOneClick is definitely a program you should check out. It is supposed to work on almost any Android device. All you have to do is put your device in USB debugging mode, plug it in to your computer, and press the root button. That's it, you're done. Another feature worth noting is there is also a button to enable the ability to install non market apps on devices that just so happen to have this feature disabled *cough*AT&T*cough*. Does this program change the mind of anyone out there who was wanting to root but afraid to take the jump? Check out the thread at XDA Developers for the download.
