Forget Your Android Passcode? LifeHacker has some great tips for you!

"Whether you made a mistake when setting it or you've been mind-wiped by aliens sometimes you just can't remember the PIN number or unlock pattern for your phone. Here are your options for getting back into your device."

LifeHacker has great tips that anyone who uses a lock code in Android may find helpful. I can be a little forgetful sometimes. I need to be careful when I create or change a password. If I don't use it enough, or use it again soon enough, I can easily forget it.

Unlock With WiFi Automatically Unlocks Your Phone When On Preset Networks

"Android: Free app Unlock With WiFi toggles your Android device's security lock based on the Wi-Fi network you're connected to."

Locking and unlocking your phone can be a pain, but is often necessary to prevent unwanted usage, protect your personal info or avoid accidental calls. But now, Unlock With WiFi makes it a little less painful. The app keeps your phone unlocked when on networks that you specify. Great app to have if you don't see your phone getting tampered with while at home or at a friend's house. The app requires Android 2.1 or high and is currently free, so snap it up while you can!

No Lock For Android Does Just That

Posted by Jason Lee in "Android Software" @ 11:00 PM

"My Android device has a tiny power button, and it's usually in a holster. Really, what are the odds of me turning it on accidentally?"

Here is a little something that quite a few Android users might find useful. Usually I want my device to lock when I turn the screen off but there are times when having to unlock the device every time I turn the screen on is a real pain. Ever try to take notes during a meeting? For me the slide lock isn't too big of a deal but there are times when it might be nice to not have to deal with it. For those times there is No Lock. That is all No Lock does. It is a simple one button program that enables or disables the auto lock feature on your device. It even has a widget you can place on any home screen to quickly toggle the auto lock state. Does this program make a blip on anyone's "that's just what I needed" radar?
